## Transcript

My first seven jobs. I actually don't think I've had seven jobs yet. That was a long time ago. And I think none of them was my current position. Many of my first jobs could be prefaced by the phrase the now defunct. I worked as a janitor in a bookstore. I played piano for a church group. I summer a lunch program lunch lady. I was not very good but yet they paid me anyway. The light show was the lights to the company, a rock concert. One summer in college I worked at Chewing gum factory. My first office job was a summer job in high school when I worked on a county treasurers office. But I came away every day just wreaking of sugar.

And we had to reconcile property tax payments tabs with the property tax records. It can always be worse, it can always be Waiter, you could be a coal miner. There's always a worst job than the job you have. You're doing other kinds of big projects in my career since then that you started and may look impossible but you just keep plugging away and eventually you'll get it done. You should do your best whatever it is. Yeah, I think having a job that early on and having a Paycheck really helps me with my personal finance skills. I think early jobs teach you to be a team player. I had to like budget half of my paycheck to last me until the next one.

And I was only working weekends because of school, so I still use all of those skills today. Being a team player, making sure that you understand what you need to do to get the job done but also have fun while doing it. Some days What you have to do is not that pleasant and not that enjoyable but you just have to do it with the best attitude that you can. As long as you can fake it enough to get though that actually can carry you a long way in some jobs. And many of my jobs since then have been because Someone I knew we've worked with at a prior job thought of me for an opening that came along.
