## Transcript

Elton John will soon be hearing wedding bells. The singer's rep confirmed to People Wednesday he will tie the know with long time partner David Furnish. The couple entered into a civil partnership in 2005 and they are parents to two sons, Zachary and Elijah. But not too long after England legalized same- sex marriage in March, Furnish told the Las Vegas Review Journal he and John were making wedding plans. Plans. He told the outlet, we don't feel the need to take an extra step legally. But since we're committed for life, we feel it's really important to take advantage of that amazing change in legislation.

Exactly when or where the nuptials will take place has yet to be confirmed. But several media outlets have reported the two will wed at their Windsor estate December 21st.
