## Transcript

The 2012 consumer electronics show by the numbers. I'm tom. com technology editor Doug Amith and I was there man, I was was there. [ MUSIC ] Ain't been quite right. Let's take a look at the numbers. Number of industry only attendees, that's press, exhibitors, analysts, sizzle sellers, deal sealers, and PR people. 160, 000 according to my cab driver supervisor and if you can't trust a cabbie supervisor who can you trust? Square feet of exhibit space to cover 1. 6 million. Techland riders and attendants, three. That's roughly 533, 333 square feet per rider. CSC related articles posted to Techland, 62 and counting.

Now, let's check the stats for my fancy fit bit pedometer, which I wore for four full days from midday Sunday to midday Thursday while covering the show. I kid you not. These are real figures. Number of steps taken, 74, 911. That's roughly 18, 728 per day. Miles walked, 44. 58. That's roughly 11. 15 miles per day. Calories burned, 19, 305. That's roughly 4, 826 calories per day. Average bedtime was 4 a. m. Average wake time was 7: 30 a. m. Number of Justin Bieber- related ruckuses caused at CES: 1. Number of UItrabooks announced, too many to count. So what'd we like at the show? Harry really liked the Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook, Jared really liked the Asus Memo 370T tablet, I really liked seeing Justin Bieber as I found the ruckus he created as CES was nothing compared to the ruckus he created in my heart, but if we're talking gadgets, I liked the Samsung Galaxy Note.

Check out all our coverage of the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show by cruising over to Techland and clicking CES 2012 in the menu. That link won't be there forever, but we'll leave it up for a little while. If everyone watching this video could just go read every single one of our CES posters, at least once, it would really be helping me out. I mean, I don't know about the other two guys, but I walk 11 miles a day, slept 3 and a half hours a night. And, I survived, one beaver flash mob in order to bring you this content. The walking in the sleep, it's like whatever but what would he should have to survive a Bieber flash mob.

I have never seen human beings act that way. I've never ever seen human beings act that way with so whoo. Nuts.
