These notes by the way were written between 1962 and 2003. >> Stanislaw Dziwisz, now the Archbishop of Krakow, served as John Paul's personal secretary for nearly 40 years. Dziwisz talked to reporters two weeks ago and defended his decision to publish the notes in a book titled, " I am very much in God's hands ." These notes are so important, they say so much about the spiritual side about the great pope that it would have been a crime to destroy them. But the perceived violation of trust and the very real defiance of the pope's wishes, raised plenty of eyebrows. >> Okay, so you can keep them and not publish them. >> Yes, there's an option. -[ Unk ] have a larger say over this. >> It's bizarre, who do they actually belong to? >> The 640 page book credits Pope John Paul II as the author using his birth name Karol Wojtyla.
