## Transcript

Welcome to the PageCast. It's Friday, May 2nd. I'm Mark Halperin in Palm Springs with your three things to watch for in politics today. First, the fight over the economy, Barack Obama talking about the economy, much economic news out there-- none of the three remaining presidential candidates has figured out a way to really own this issue. Watch to see who makes progress today. Watch to see how the press covers the candidates and the economy. Second, the battle over North Carolina, the expectations game there very scrambled. A lot of public polling showing the race tighter than it was before. Both candidates speaking at a party dinner in North Carolina on Friday night.

Watch to see how the focus on that state goes today. Watch to see how the candidates perform and watch to see the evolving expectations game key ahead of Tuesday's primary. And then finally, the Super Delegates-- expect more Super Delegates to come out, make their intentions known, their support known on this Friday. Watch to see at the end of the day who's meted more of those key Super Delegates. Those are your three things to watch for in politics today, all the political news all the time right here on The Page. For now in Palm Springs, I'm Mark Halperin. Thanks for watching the PageCast.
