## Transcript

With Russia firmly in control of Crimea and amassing troops along its border, Ukraine's foreign minister tells ABC This Week he has major concerns. One week ago, you told us on this broadcast that you thought the chances of going to war were quite high. What are the chances this morning? They are growing. Foreign Minister Andrii Deshchytsia also said Ukraine would continue use of diplomatic and economic tactics to contain Russia. Vladimir Putin's inner circle has felt the pinch of wide ranging economic sanctions in the past week as both the US and European Union levy travel bans and disrupted trade.

And on CNN's State of the Union, White House Advisor Tony Blinken defended President Obama's focus on economic punishment rather than military threat. We've seen the ruble get to near an all time low, and we see investors who are looking at Russia sitting on the fence. Everything that's happened since, as a result of the efforts we've made to isolate Russia for its actions in Ukraine, has only made that worse. Sunday marks one week since Crimea's referendum on breaking off from Ukraine. Putin and his government point to that vote to justify their own presence in the region, though the US and much of Europe still say that referendum was illegitimate.
