You had bloody people lying all over the square sleeping on sheets of plastic, something on the asphalt of the square and bit of grass and everywhere, anywhere they could find. Multiple people had shown up with bread rolls hand out to some of the young fighters of front line. There are people coming around with tea. It's kinda like a-- kind of medieval [ unk ] front. >> Almost all of our people are missing. We go through [ unk ]. >> And then the fighting begins and this people banging all walls against metal plums to pull people to the front line and then lot of the young men whistling and then you see just hundreds of people making their way forwards towards barricade. There were a lot of casualties injuries today and the alley way on the edge of the square and what is normally a mosque. [ unk ] doctors from Cairo University turned into a mix of hospital. -[ Foreign Language ]. >> And in this tiny alley way, they're stretching people up, head wounds. They've seen gun shots. -[ unk ], the most of his things that were [ unk ] the type of lesions, the shot in the head. >> We've heard from number of doctors that they believe that they were professional snipers operating on what is the highway overpass overlooking Tahrir Square. >> Yes. Because the shooting was in the same place and 12 of my chance-- all doctors here are volunteers, all the nurses are volunteers, all people here in this place [ unk ]. >> Actually a very odd community of people thrown together into the most extreme circumstances and rather than being all ideologically [ unk ], there is a huge spectrum of people. I've met people who were [ unk ] construction workers and so on and today I met a real estate agent from Denver Colorado. >> Tell me what happened to you. >> Me? >> Yeah. >> I was just up in the front on the entrance down this way with [ unk ] and I just took the rock [ unk ]. >> Okay overnight-- >> He had been in Cairo visiting his parents Egyptian- American. And when I asked him, what is the guy sells real estate in Denver doing fighting in the battle front in Tahrir Square. He says, he wanted to be part of this popular movement.
