I knew I wanted to be an actor when after one week of shooting in my first film, Dazed and Confused, and they kept inviting me back. Say man, you got a joint? Three days work, [ unk ] three weeks work. Anyway, after about a week I remember having the time of my life, I remember getting a $ 320 check everyday which was about six times more than I was making waiting tables, 7 hours a night, at the Catfish days. And people come up and slap me on the back saying, " Hey, you're pretty good with this ." And I was like-- I remember thinking I was looking [ unk ]. And thankfully it was and it is, and that's when I first started to dream, you know, [ unk ] I might pursue this as a career and not just a hobby, not just a job.

And that was in 1992 and here I am. It'd be a lot cooler if you did.
