## Transcript

The future of London's Heathrow Airport is still, well, up in the air. It's new $ 4 billion terminal two, opening June 4th, sports luxuries like a Herr's department store, 63 British restaurants and shops ,. Plus a carrier agnostic check in system plus security to make it in from the door to the gate speedier. The privately owned t for limited is still bound down in talks with the British government trying to secure permission for a third runway. It needs that runway to help relieve a growing need that even had some proposing to move the entire airport. Heathrow handles a plane taking off for landing every 45 seconds.

Terminal two is expected to ease that congested. The New York Times reports that Terminal one is scheduled for demolition starting in 2015, and then the new construction of Terminal two will expand to fill both footprints, with enough infrastructure and shops to serve 10 million more passengers a year.
