## Transcript

Apple has big changes planned for its mobile devices. Not only does it have new slabs like the iPad Pro on the way, but the software under the hood will be more capable as well. Improvements in iOS 9 include split screen support to take advantage of all that new screen real estate. A better search dashboard will offer context and recommendations that improve themselves based on how you use your phone or tablet. And notifications now show up in order. You can send quick replys right from the notification stack too. Apple's made a big deal of saving time on that sort of quick interaction, just look at the Apple watch.

One of it's stated reason for existing is to provide Fast, convenient information. Speaking of which, Watch OS2 is expected to bring faster apps and more watch faces to choose from. Even the tiny things have changed. Apples' custom San Francisco typeface, the one it developed for its watch will now make its way to iPhones and iPads. And there's a low- power mode Apple says will bring up to three hours of additional runtime out of its batteries. Via Apple's numbers, 87 % of iOS devices are running iOS 8. So most people should be ready to make the switch. To upgrade you'll need at least and iPad 2 or iPhone 4s.
