## Transcript

Hi, I'm Sean Gregory, sportswriter for Time magazine and Time. com, and today we're gonna preview Super Bowl 46 between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots. So who's gonna win this game? I personally give the edge to the New York Giants. The Giants are red- hot. Much like they did back in 2007, when they last played the Patriots in the Super Bowl and beat them The Giants are peaking at the perfect time of the year, late in the regular season and in the playoffs. We've seen the emergence of Eli Manning as more than just the other Manning brother this year. During the regular season, Eli had an MVP caliber campaign where he passed for nearly 5, 000 yards.

He threw fifteen 4th quarter touchdown passes breaking a record previously held by Johnny Unitas and his older brother Peyton. Eli has developed a smooth style. Kind of like a Joe Montana, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers. Poetic almost, kind of like the Roger Federer of the football field, as apposed to Peyton who's known more as a athletic snorting, bull type like Rafael Nadal. Now in a delicious bit of irony. UI will be playing the Patriots in Indianapolis. His big brother's home town. Just as Peyton might be leaving the Colts because of injuries, and the Colts potential draft pick of his replacement, Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck.

Four years ago when Indianapolis was rewarded the Super Bowl, everyone thought it could be a coronation for Peyton Manning. [ MUSIC ] Well this may be the day where the other Manning finally escapes from his brother's shadow for good.
