Coachella announced its 2026 lineup in September last year. November has arrived without a 2027 poster. The Coachella subreddit and prediction-market traders are putting the finishing touches on theirs.

Reddit users have created a [2027 Coachella Artist Tracker](https://www.reddit.com/r/Coachella/comments/1ud9nda/coachella%5F2027%5Fartist%5Ftracker/?solution=765f62f90d5fdb88765f62f90d5fdb88&js%5Fchallenge=1&jsc%5Ftoken=2824be10929bdc604753c70a67a1c33104371e3b1bbb9a4d0c4086c98cdcd95d&jsc%5Forig%5Fr) on [r/Coachella](https://www.reddit.com/r/Coachella/), where more than 250 potential festival performers have been grouped into five categories: "confirmed," "likely," "rumored," "possible," and "out/unlikely." The majority of the subreddit's detective work comes down to a radius clause.

In April, [Billboard reported](https://ca.billboard.com/business/touring/justin-bieber-coachella-radius-claus) that Coachella's radius clause prevents artists from performing shows in or around Southern California from December 15 to May 1, though terms vary by year—and artist, if that artist is [Justin Bieber](https://ca.billboard.com/business/touring/justin-bieber-coachella-radius-claus). r/Coachella has labeled hundreds of performers as "out/unlikely" for next year's festival after spotting Los Angeles tour dates within that window, while artists whose tours suspiciously skip the city land in the "likely" or "possible" categories.

The subreddit, which attracts 84,000 weekly visitors and 5,000 weekly contributors, is still waiting for Coachella to unveil the official lineup. But a recent report—and one prospective headliner's revealing post on an alternate Instagram account—suggest prediction-market traders called the headliners back in August.

## Coachella Headliner Odds

Below are the [2027 Coachella headliner odds](https://kalshi.com/markets/kxroleateventcoachella/who-will-headline-coachella/kxroleateventcoachella-27dec31), per Kalshi.

Last week, TMZ reported that Dua Lipa, Tame Impala, and SZA were "[nearly confirmed as performers](https://www.tmz.com/2026/10/30/dua-lipa-sza-tame-impala-coachella-2027/)" for Coachella 2027\.

The language there is hedgy. There is no way to attach an implied probability to TMZ's definition of "nearly," and performing at Coachella is not the same as headlining Coachella. The assumption, though, is that all three artists are too big to command anything but the poster's largest font size should they be booked.

SZA's _SOS_ and Dua Lipa's _Future Nostalgia_ rank sixth and 11th, respectively, among [Spotify's most-streamed albums ever](https://newsroom.spotify.com/2026-04-23/spotify-20-most-streamed-music-podcasts-audiobooks/), according to [data published](https://newsroom.spotify.com/2026-04-23/spotify-20-most-streamed-music-podcasts-audiobooks/) in April, and both artists headlined Glastonbury in 2024\. Tame Impala headlined Coachella in 2019 and would become the 11th artist to return to Indio's mainstage. All three currently have at least an 85% chance of headlining Coachella while Tate McRae trails with the next-highest odds at just 29%.

Tame Impala (95%), Dua Lipa (90%), and SZA (87%) were the market's three favorites to take top billing at Coachella toward the end of August, around the same time music-industry publication [Hits Daily Double reported](https://www.hitsdailydouble.com/news/live/countdown-column-2026-09-01) Tame Impala, Dua Lipa, and Fred again.. were in line to headline the festival. The market's confidence mostly lined up with industry reporting, though traders were more bullish on SZA than anything else would suggest. And if we are to glean anything from the seven-time Grammy winner's recent [finsta](https://www.merriam-webster.com/wordplay/what-does-finsta-mean-fake-instagram) post, traders were hitting all the right notes.

Last week, SZA posted a slideshow to her [alternate Instagram account](https://www.reddit.com/r/Coachella/comments/1xkd4od/from%5Fszas%5Falt%5Faccount/) that included a screenshot of the [TMZ Coachella report](https://x.com/TMZ/status/2116147145795354876?s=42). Her caption read: "Mulling over big decisions. Saying yes when ur unprepared is crazy. Been doing it my whole career tho lol... might as well."

SZA's chances of headlining Coachella climbed from 40% to 89% in the days that followed the TMZ report and her Instagram post—a 49-percentage-point rise that brought her contract almost exactly back to where it was in late August. Coachella has not announced when it will announce its 2027 lineup. Reddit users and the market have one more candidate for the "out/unlikely" category: a surprise headliner.
