This nervous energy was perfectly captured in a cinematic three-and-a-half minute video that introduced strangers and then had them kiss. The clip quickly went viral, gaining 24 million YouTube views in 48 hours, before it was revealed as an ad for WREN clothing store. While that revelation left a [bad taste in some people’s mouths](http://time.com/21332/why-that-first-kiss-video-now-feels-like-a-bad-first-date/ "undefined"), it still rang true to many.
