She co-founded and is CEO of Spring Health, one of the fastest-­­growing companies in mental-­health care. Its tech platform quickly connects people with appropriate support—leading to better results for millions who might otherwise go without care. April’s impact is multi-faceted. She started Spring Health out of empathy, inspired by loved ones struggling to find the right care. She’s one of the too-few female CEOs leading a unicorn company—a 2024 funding round valued it at over $3 ­billion—and advocates for destigmatizing mental-­health issues. She’s expanded Spring Health’s reach to serve families and, globally, to deliver evidence-­based, culturally competent care to communities often overlooked. As a mom, she’s even more determined to reduce mental-­health barriers for the next generation. April is transforming how companies and societies perceive mental health, and redefining what leadership looks like.
