She was constantly churning out fresh material, which is really impressive for a new comedian. As seen in her stand-up specials—_Quarter-Life Crisis_ and _Look at You,_ which [debuted on Netflix this spring](https://www.nytimes.com/2022/03/08/movies/taylor-tomlinson-look-at-you-netflix.html "undefined")—she’s also incredibly self-assured onstage, and has a very respectable knack for writing sharp jokes relatable to a wide audience. In many ways, Taylor is representative of this new generation of comedians—a generation that is able to talk about things in a healthy, clear manner. She isn’t shrouding her personal life; she’s exposing it. Taylor doesn’t have to put on a front while performing. She shows everyone exactly who she is.
