With her 5.4 million [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/livvydunne/?hl=en) followers—and audience of 8 million on [TikTok](https://www.tiktok.com/@livvy?lang=en)—Dunne wound up setting the standard on how college athletes can monetize their [Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL)](https://time.com/6094842/college-sports-nil-operndorse/). In the summer of 2021, when Dunne had just finished up her freshman season at LSU, a Supreme Court ruling compelled the NCAA to finally allow athletes to secure third-party sponsorships.
