It all started in 2019 when, as a student at Harvard University, DiGiovanni became the youngest _MasterChef_ finalist at the time, finishing in third place. After graduation, the Providence, R.I. native began uploading videos of cooking tips and tricks to YouTube; today, with about 27 million subscribers, he’s reached rare air as one of the platform’s top food creators. DiGiovanni’s followers consume his content to the tune of more than 12 billion views, watching him cook against robots, eat the world’s rarest foods, and show how Wagyu beef is made; he’s also asked celebrities like Tom Brady and fellow creators like Charli D’Amelio and MrBeast to rate his culinary creations, and even stopped by Selena Gomez’s Max cooking series, _Selena + Chef_, to challenge the actor to cook pesto pasta served inside an 80-pound wheel of Parmesan cheese. The 29-year-old shows no sign of slowing down. He has published a New York _Times_ best-selling cookbook and set multiple food-related Guinness World Records, including for the largest-ever cake pop and the fastest time to filet a 10-pound fish—a record previously held by the chef Gordon Ramsey.
