With [evidence clear](https://www.thelancet.com/journals/langlo/article/PIIS2214-109X%2824%2900503-5/fulltext "undefined") that MMS helps prevent births of small newborns at highest risk for infant mortality, more than 30 countries are now introducing or scaling up the use of MMS in their healthcare systems.
