The updated DotKnit fabric incorporates both wool and synthetic material into a stippled textile, which pairs hydrophobic inner yarns with hydrophilic outer ones. "Those little dots are windows that allow the moisture to come through," says Cory Olson, global head of innovation at The North Face. "It's taking any sweat that's generated on the body and immediately expelling it away from you." The North Face sells a variety of garments made from DotKnit.
