Blueprint AI, Squarespace’s AI-guided builder, asks a handful of questions and instantly spins up unique web designs, including imagery curated by the company’s own designers, so users can tweak pages rather than start from scratch. “Great design is inherently human,” says chief product officer Paul Gubbay. “We wanted to make sure the user felt AI was enhancing their story, but wasn’t taking over for them.” More than half of new customers now begin with Blueprint, while a late-September update added in a chat element to make sites even more personally tailored.
