The [Pentax 17](https://pentax.eu/products/pentax-17 "undefined") is a half-frame camera, so users get 72 shots from a 36-exposure film, and its vertical orientation is ideally suited to a generation whose default camera is a smartphone. “This is a quality product designed to give you many years of pleasure,” says Ken Curry, president of Pentax owner Ricoh Imaging North America.
