BuzzKill is an app that lets Android users build plain-language rules to decide, with greater control, which notifications hit their home screens and when. For example, a user can decide to only receive notifications from a WhatsApp group when it mentions a specific person or term, or only buzz once if you get a bunch of alerts at the same time. The app has 25 plug-in-style actions, and more than 20,000 users.
