The source of said gas—livestock manure—is plentiful on many farms. Using a system developed by a New Holland subsidiary, farmers can capture “fugitive” gas from covered manure lagoons and process it into LNG for storage in on-site cryogenic tanks. The T7 could become commercially available as soon as 2026.
