In India, 800,000 employer evaluations were gathered, and the 600 companies that employees were most willing to recommend were ranked on the list. The top three industries on the list are IT, software and services; followed by banking and financial services; then construction, chemicals, and raw materials. This year, the top employer in India is real estate services provider CBRE, which has been in India for more than [30 years](https://www.linkedin.com/posts/cbre-india%5F30yearsoftrust-realestategrowth-our30yearruntono1-activity-7252660103907065856-PW4H "undefined") as the [first international real estate consultancy](https://www.rprealtyplus.com/expert-zone/partners-in-real-estate-success-118648.html "undefined") to set up in the country. CBRE, which has over 13,000 employees in India across 17 offices, works with governments, institutions, and companies on real estate and infrastructure projects, providing, for example, business research for places like airports. “We started this career in professional real estate services in India. In the initial days, it was very difficult to attract talent,” says Anshuman Magazine, Chairman & CEO for India, South-East Asia, Middle East & Africa at CBRE. “It started improving because we started hiring professionals, creating awareness, but it was in tandem with India coming into the global market and multinational firms coming into the country.” CBRE offers internships and other programs to attract talent, but Magazine also recognizes the importance of retention, and upgrading the skills of current employees, who it partners with local universities to train so they can keep pace as the real estate market is being changed by factors like AI and ESG.
