That earned him the funding and the trust to host _Snap Judgment_, which fashions itself as “storytelling with a beat.” Throughout each episode, Washington mixes obscure and captivating stories with rhythm and music that attempts to capture the essence of the dramas he’s sharing. Washington presents these real yarns almost like he’s at a poetry slam, waxing about a safari guide on the Zambezi River, a CEO negotiating with pirates, and a newspaper setting traps for corrupt officials.
