Housed in a building originally purchased by the artist’s parents and later inhabited by Kahlo herself, the museum offers visitors a rich window into Kahlo family history. On display are intimate personal effects—embroidered blouses, combs, hand mirrors—alongside patriarch Guillermo Kahlo’s extensive photography. The dining room features personal correspondence from Kahlo’s travels, including homesick dispatches and wry quips about the lack of spice in American food.
