[Blow Up Hall](https://blowuphall.com/en/ "undefined") first made waves in 2009 as one of Poland’s most avant-garde boutique hotels. After a top-to-bottom renovation and under new ownership, it reopened in 2025—and its second act is already outshining its first. Inspired by Michelangelo Antonioni’s 1966 countercultural film _Blow-Up,_ the hotel treats art not as decoration but as structure. That begins with its setting inside the revived Stary Browar (Old Brewery), whose industrial bones now frame an ever-changing roster of contemporary works curated in collaboration with Polish artists. Installations appear throughout the property, from Ogród (“Garden”), a papier-mâché environment inspired by coral reefs, to sculpture, photography, and ceramics. That same experimental spirit carries into the 21 guest rooms, no two alike, each rendered in elegant minimalism with unexpected flourishes like futuristic lighting or boldly patterned furnishings. Downstairs, the restaurant Arte serves inventive Polish cuisine with French flair, like tangy beets with local sheep’s cheese, wild rose, and a dash of coffee.
