Glass can be heated without leaching chemicals and is easier to clean, but plastic is lighter and more durable. The ChiccoDuo Hybrid features the best of both, with a thin layer of unbreakable glass bonded to an outer plastic layer. “Liquid only touches glass inside, but the bottle feels like plastic,” says Brenda Liistro, a general manager at Artsana, Chicco’s parent company.
