Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County is a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing food waste and ensuring that surplus food reaches those in need. Collaborating with farmers, grocery stores, and food producers, they rescue excess food that would otherwise go to waste. This food is then distributed to local food banks and shelters, providing nourishment to individuals and families facing hunger. No Kid Hungry works with food banks like Second Harvest that are feeding children, providing funding for their work, and advocating for better state and national policies.

"It's not okay that any child in America is going hungry,” said Lisa Davis, Senior Vice President of Programs and Advocacy at No Kid Hungry. “We work with community groups across the country - like Second Harvest - to make sure kids are getting the meals they need to thrive".

Kia is proud to partner with Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County and No Kid Hungry to tackle food insecurity. “Kia has been a wonderful partner to Second Harvest Food Bank. Their funding has supported programs like the permanent school pantry, college pantry, and Kids Café, focusing their financial resources on the nourishment and feeding of young minds here in Orange County,” explains Claudia Bonilla Keller, CEO of Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.

“Being involved with Second Harvest and No Kid Hungry makes me feel good because Kia knows that we're doing something good for the community and the kids.” shares Steven Center, COO and Executive Vice President for Kia America.
