Deloitte TIME100 Leadership Lens 2026_ At the 2026 TIME100 Davos Dinner, TIME CEO Jess Sibley spoke with Jason Girzadas, Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte US, about the growing role of artificial intelligence and the importance of keeping humans at the center of its adoption. Girzadas said Deloitte views the future of AI as “human-led and AI-powered,” emphasizing that leadership, ethics, and values must guide technological advancement. “The human-led part of it involves goal setting, being an ethical steward, and being a proponent of the values an organization stands by,” he said. He pointed to Deloitte’s long-term investment in AI as evidence of that approach, noting that Deloitte Global plans to invest $3 billion in its network of member firms by 2030 to reimagine how it delivers work for clients. When asked about his optimism for AI’s future, Girzadas cited the Cancer AI Alliance as an example of its potential, a collaboration among technology companies and cancer research centers accelerating research across the United States and beyond. “These efforts give me a great sense of pride and optimism,” Girzadas said.
