The [15-point plan](https://x.com/BoardOfPeace/status/2083593633698394592), issued by Trump’s Board of Peace and backed by his Administration, envisioned a phased peace process during which Hamas would gradually hand over its weapons and power to a new Palestinian administration as Israel gradually withdraws troops to the “yellow line” position agreed upon in the original peace deal it [signed with Hamas in October 2025](https://time.com/7325314/trump-israel-knesset-speech-hamas-cease-fire-gaza-war-hostages/). When it was [released](https://x.com/BoardOfPeace/status/2083156702250115118) by the Board of Peace on July 31, Netanyahu remained silent for multiple days and then [acknowledged](https://www.facebook.com/reel/1440281851469159) that the Trump Administration had “sent us a draft.” “We did not agree,” he continued. “It is not our draft. We sent our comments.
