Tebello ⁠Mosikili, the Deputy National Commissioner of the South African Police Service (SAPS), said at a ​[press conference](https://x.com/IOL/status/2072310966784573749?s=20) on Wednesday that of the 120 marches ​that took place on Tuesday, 108 were peaceful and 12 led to clashes with police, including in parts of Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, and the Western Cape.
