Last year saw Shadow Complex and Battlefield 1943 hit XBL and PSN, where they became big hits in the process. \[vodpod id=Video.3694166&w=425&h=350&fv=\] The latest hopeful for summer success is _Deathspank_, which is being developed by Hothead Games and distributed through EA as part as the EA Partners program. With many of them coming from Radical Entertainment, the crew at Hothead Games have a good resume of games, including _Prototype_, _Scarface_ and _Hulk: Ultimate Destruction_. On top of that, _Deathspank_ sprang from the head of Ron Gilbert, who worked on the beloved _Monkey Island_ games from LucasArts years ago. _Deathspank_ started as a comic strip on Gilbert’s site and grew into a game. Gilbert know how to bring the funny and the game looks like a mix of _Monkey Island_ and _Diablo_. It’s got an action-RPG template with tons of goofy humor throughout. And, there might be magic underwear involved.
