The [radar detector hardware](http://cobrairadar.com/detector/ "undefined") itself is a bit pricey [at $170](http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/cobra-electronics-revolutionizes-radar-detection-with-cobra-iradar-system-104931144.html "undefined"), though it works as a standalone detector with or without the iPhone app and is capable of detecting "all radar and laser guns on the market" with full 360-degree protection.
