Fans of the Showtime drama _Dexter_ will be thrilled to learn that Marvel Comics is turning “America’s favorite serial killer” Dexter Morgan into a comic book star. DEXTER #1, the first volume in a five-issue miniseries, will debut February 2013.

Hall in the TV show, Dexter Morgan, a forensics expert for Miami’s police department, will go toe-to-toe with a new villain, the “Skid Row Slasher” — but not before he faces old classmates at his high school reunion. Jeff Lindsay—who wrote _Darkly Dreaming Dexter,_ the first book in a six-part crime novel series that inspired the TV show—will pen the series. “Marvel Comics has always been a place where I felt at home.
