CBS has ordered a pilot script that “re-imagines” the original Aaron Spelling-produced drama series, sources [told](http://www.vulture.com/2013/10/reboot-of-charmed-is-in-the-works-at-cbs.html) Vulture.

_Charmed_ was one of the first popular fantasy series on TV, airing years before _True Blood_, _Once Upon a Time_, or _American Horror Story: Coven_ ever mined the magical and horror worlds for material. The show starring **Alyssa Milano**, **Rose McGowan** and **Holly Marie Combs** ran on the now-defunct WB network for eight seasons.
