The _Django Unchained_ writer and director is upset, [_Deadline_ ](http://www.deadline.com/2014/01/quentin-tarantino-hateful-eight-leak-novel/ "undefined")[_reports_](http://www.deadline.com/2014/01/quentin-tarantino-hateful-eight-leak-novel/ "undefined"), because a script for what was supposed to be his next film, _The Hateful Eight_, was leaked online. “I’m very, very depressed,” [Tarantino told _Deadline_](http://www.deadline.com/2014/01/quentin-tarantino-hateful-eight-leak-novel/ "undefined"). “I finished a script, a first draft, and I didn’t mean to shoot it until next winter, a year from now. I gave it to six people, and apparently it’s gotten out today.” Tarantino says that he gave the script for the ensemble Western to a small circle of producers and actors, and that one of them must have shown it to an agent. He said that it wasn’t long before his agent Mike Simpson started getting calls from agents who wanted their clients considered for the film.
