Buenos Aires’ great independent newspaper La Prensa, killed by PresidentPerón last spring, is to begin a new existence this month as themouthpiece of Perón’s General Confederation of Labor. The presenteditor of Evita Perón’s demagogic, anti-U.S. Democracia is slated to be editor. He plans to get out his first edition Oct. 18, the morningafter the Perónistas’ Loyalty Day. Oct. 18 will also be the Sandanniversary of La Prensa’s founding.
