Doolittle came toraid Tokyo last April 18 was the late aircraft carrier Hornet. “OurImperial air units,” said the broadcast, “have been concentrating onthis ship”; and its sinking was “revenge for the raid [which] can neverbe forgotten by the 100,000,000 Japanese people.”
