¶ Discussed the World Court, debated the World Court, grew angry over the World Court, and finally voted on the question of closing debate.
The House—
¶ Adopted a resolution authorizing an appropriation of $50,000 to pay the expenses of a U. S. delegation to the preliminary conference called by the League of Nations to prepare agenda for a disarmament conference, by vote of 359 to 1. (Resolution went to the Senate.)
¶ Debated the Navy Department appropriation bill for 1926-27, and finally passed it with reduced appropriations for aircraft and personnel. (Bill went to the Senate.)
