Something for the Boys

Philadelphia’s Evening (“Almost EverybodyReads the”) Bulletin last week hoisted a new kind of service flag. Theflag was official, having received the approval of Major General JamesA. Ulio, Adjutant General. At the top it carried a gold star with thenumber 6 (for war dead); below it a blue star with the number 396 (foremployes in service); at the bottom the eagle emblem of the honorablydischarged, with the number 28 (for veterans who have been employed orre-employed by the Bulletin).
