Theircomplaint: School principals, sympathizing with depression-pinchedparents, had nipped in the bud an old U. S. custom: flowers atgraduation. Cried Spokesman Anthony Gillis (to no avail): “Every yearwe look forward to graduation. Now flowers are forbidden. This goes toshow there is something wrong somewhere.”
