Last week Nazis again presented Salzburg’s famed annual Festival—now not only Aryanized but full of considerable ersatz as the result of two years of Aryan warfare. Only internationally known singer to participate: Hungarian Soprano Anna Konetzni, who warbled in operas of Mozart and Strauss. One play presented: Viel Lärm um nichts (Much Ado About Nothing) von Wilhelm Shakespeare.
