¶To Andre Daher, French deputy who accompanied Premier Daladier on his recent tour of Tunisia, the cheers and parades of France’s subjects were gratifying. So last week Andre Daher proposed to enlarge the title of the head of the French Government, to make it: “President of the French Republic and the French Empire.”
¶In Canada, a member of the House of Commons (like M. Daher, of French extraction) proposed that the Dominion of Canada change its name and status, become the “Kingdom of Canada,” presided over by a viceroy instead of a governor general.
