But this fall, a new Spike TV reality show, I Hate My Job, will feature the Pentecostal minister, soon-to-be CNBC commentator and onetime road manager for James Brown as a “life counselor.” Offering weekly assignments and advice, Sharpton and a psychologist will help eight contestants pursue their dream jobs. “I fully support the message of this show,” the pompadoured reverend said in a statement. “If you hate your job and want a change–get up and do it!” For some people, of course, just getting up on TV is the dream.
