Sure, the 150cc motor sounds more like a electric shaver than an engine, but you’ll have the last laugh as you weave through the gridlock, leaving motorists in your wake. Scooter fares start from a mere $1. For the Merc, you’re looking at $45 an hour, or $95 for a one-way airport transfer — but you’d better be traveling light if booking the latter. The SLK 200 has about as much luggage room as, well, a scooter.
