Micro Filming

1 minute read
Mark Halper

It used to be the stuff of secret agents: tiny cameras disguised as personal effects. Now everyone can play James Bond. The Philips key019 is a video camera on a 9.6-cm stick slender enough to fit on a key ring. Philips began selling a key-ring still camera last year, and it was popular enough to inspire this video upgrade. And like any gadget in the new age of morphing, the 019 does more than video and still pictures: it includes an MP3 music player. The 019 is due in European shops in May and in Asia in July, and Philips is rolling all these features into one for $365. But remember: if you lose your keys, you may still need a private detective to find them.
