You thought the highly underrated 1996 action movie _Twister_ taught you everything there was to know about tornadoes, but you were wrong. Meet the [firenado](http://www.theguardian.com/world/shortcuts/2014/may/11/firenado-fire-tornado-firenadoes), which is exactly what it sounds like: a tornado that sucks up surrounding fire, creating a swirling, burning cone of disaster. The above firenado was captured on Instagram by Janae Copelin in Chillicothe, Missouri.
