Speaking [alongside](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlCr4Xb2uJI) Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese during a joint press conference in Canberra on Thursday morning, local time, the Canadian leader noted a difference between what he described as unconsulted offensive action and his country’s broader alliance commitments. “There’s a distinction between the offensive actions that were taken and are being taken by the United States and Israel without consultation with Canada and other allies.
