We are heartbroken by this sudden loss, and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time,” a spokesperson for the family said in a statement. Authorities are investigating the deaths. Reiner, 78, is remembered for classic films including _This Is Spinal Tap_ (1984), _Stand By Me_ (1986), _The Princess Bride_ (1987), _Misery_ (1990), and _When Harry Met Sally…_ (1989). He also co-founded production company Castle Rock Entertainment in 1987, and starred as Michael “Meathead” Stivic in the ’70s sitcom “All in the Family,” among other acting roles.
